Ng Yit Ming (Ming) is the current Regional Category Manager for Car Fleet in Zone Asia, Oceania and Africa in the world’s largest food and beverage company known as Nestlé. He joined Nestlé Malaysia’s Procurement Hub in 2017 in a pioneering role created as part of the organizations Procurement Transformation Project to consolidate procurement activities globally. He has successfully transformed the car fleet category in his zone to ensure the best value is provided for the region through consolidation, standardization and introducing the best in class global practices. Ming is also a keen supporter in promoting the “green vehicle” agenda which will ultimately lead to full vehicle electrification. Prior to this he has worked in the Australian automotive industry in procurement, logistics and supply chain.
Ming was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He pursued his higher education at RMIT University based in Melbourne, Australia specializing in Business Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Aside from work, Ming enjoys traveling the world, soccer, cycling and is a keen advocate in raising the profile of the Logistics and Supply Chain Industry. He was a past President of the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (Victoria Division), a finalist in the Australian Future Leaders Award and is a current member of the Global Fleet APAC Advisory Board.
