2016 Global Fleet Conference: Captivating insights, Practical solutions

JUNE 7: Economy, Taxation, Tech & Climate Change

Session 1 will cover the economic impacts on global fleet management through a Q & A with Chief Economist Ivan Van de Cloot of think thank Itinera. The dynamics of today’s global car fleet trends will be unravelled by Marc Odinius, Managing Director at Dataforce.

Session 2 will explore the changes and effects about company car taxation across the globe with Erwin Boumans, Partner at Tax & Legal Services BDO. Two case studies will bring insight in the way global fleet managers tsecure efficiency in a permanently evolving environment: Romain Trébuil of L'Oréal and Ivor Johnson of Pfizer.

Session 3 will explain everything on the UN Paris Climate Change Agreement as an engine for alternative powertrain integration in fleets by Bert Witkamp, Secretary-General of AVERE. WIth the expertise of FleetCor attendees will understand the global positioning of fuel management suppliers and we end this session with an interactive presentation of Sven Van Rossum of Athlon International, who will build up the TCO model for electric vehicles.

Session 4 focuses on technology, self-driving and telematics with a panel discussion about the role of the self-driving car in fleet with various leaders of different business sectors. Telematics insight with Paul Gourlet of Arval and Marina Ostojic of NCR, will be combined with a forward look on connectivity and innovation with Edward Kulperger, Geotab Vice President Business Development.

JUNE 8: Regional Focus U.S., Asia and Latin America

Session 5 will give you a clear view on today and tomorrow’s global presence of the international fleet management companies. A case study will be presented by Unilever’s Global Sourcing & Category Lead Alexandra Tarmo.

Finally, Session 6 concentrates on region specificities. You will find out all about the similarities and differences of fleet management practices between the U.S. and the Rest of the World with Steven Schoefs and Mike Antich. John Dmochowsky, Global Senior Fleet Manager at Mondelēz International will present a case study on this subject. Our Latin America scope targets fleet management innovation in Brazil with presentations by Joao Andrade and Gabriel Andrade of Localiza Fleet Solutions, while Alvaro Martinez, Regional Sales Manager at ALD International, will zoom in on fleet management specifics of other countries in Latin America. Montse Empez Vidal, Global Purchasing Leader at Applus will share her best practice in this engaging region.
